Greater Cleveland Neighborhood Centers Association's mission: “To support and strengthen the capacity of its member centers to provide human services and education for children, families and seniors; and to advocate for the social, economic and political well-being of Greater Clevelanders.”
NCA serves as fiscal agent for publicly-funded center programs, including 21st Century Community Learning Center programs at six member centers, provides administrative and technical assistance and coordinates professional development for center staff.
NCA centers annually provide services to approximately 80,000 individuals – “from womb to tomb.”
Services at the centers include: child care, out of-school-time programs, senior programs (meals, transportation, socialization), food distribution, family support services, adult literacy programs, fatherhood and parenting programs, job and re-entry programs.
